Spring Festival
The Spring Festival sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Music Teachers Guild will be held on April 1 - 3 at the Whippany Marriot on Route 10. It is an exciting event for music students of all experience levels, and there are even chances for cash prizes! For more information, you can check the official MAMTG Website or ask at the office for more details.
The deadline for sending in entry forms has passed, but if your children are planning on competing at the festival, why not consider attending the awards banquet? It is a fun time, with lots of entertainment, and if your children win, it will be a chance for them to recieve their trophy amidst all the applause and accolades they deserve from their supportive family and teachers. It is a great event, and tickets are available through our office.
Opportunities for performance at RMC
With the expansion into our Annex on First Avenue, we are pleased to be able to expand our ensemble program. Currently, kids can learn to rock out or be cool jazz cats with the chance to perform throughout the school year.
As always, interested students may participate in holiday concerts. Our students spread cheer to the elders of our community at Emeritus Nursing Home.
April showers bring May flowers, and after those flowers, June recitals! All students are encouraged to perform in our end of the year recital. It is an excellent time to show off all of their hard work (and to eat cookies, because who doesn't love cookies!). This year, our recitals will be held the first two weekends of June. Please stay tuned for more information as we finalize the schedule with all our teachers.
