
Michael Nagy is a graduate of Rutgers University with a BA in music. He began studying at the age of thirteen, and his music training has included bass, guitar, voice, and saxophone. He has worked in the education field for ten years and as a private music instructor for five. Since the age of fifteen, he has enjoyed performing in the tri-state area as an instrumentalist, vocalist, and on stage in the musical theater. In addition to education and performance, he has also remained active as a music copyist, a sound engineer, and a songwriter. Michael teaches all styles of guitar and has a strong background in both modern and classical music. In addition to technique, his instruction methods emphasize music theory and composition.
